This Privacy Policy explains how Abhishek Nag ("I", "me") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit iamabhisheknag.in, request a quote, or use my services. I aim to handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information I collect
Information you give me
- Quote requests and messages: your name, email address, phone number (optional), country, the service you are interested in, your budget range, timeline and project details.
- Project information: content, files, and account or access details you share so I can carry out the work.
- Billing details: the name, email and address needed for invoices.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure payment pages and are never seen or stored by me. I receive only the payment details needed for my records, such as the amount, date, payment ID and the name, email and phone number you give Razorpay.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. How I use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and prepare quotes.
- To provide, deliver and support the services you order.
- To send invoices and process payments and refunds.
- To keep records required by tax and other laws.
- To keep this website secure and working properly.
I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.
3. Who I share it with
I share personal information only with the service providers needed to run my business:
- Razorpay — to process payments and refunds.
- Web3Forms — to deliver quote and contact form submissions to my email inbox.
- hCaptcha — to check that form submissions come from real people and not spam bots. hCaptcha may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details for this purpose.
- Vercel — to host this website.
- My email provider — to send and receive messages.
- Providers used for your project (for example a domain registrar or hosting company), only when needed to deliver the service you ordered.
I may also share information when required by law, or to protect my legal rights. Some of these providers may store data outside India.
4. How long I keep it
- Quote requests that do not become projects: up to 2 years.
- Project and client records: for as long as needed to provide support, then deleted or archived.
- Invoices and payment records: for the period required by Indian tax law (currently up to 8 years).
5. How I protect it
- This website uses HTTPS encryption for all pages and forms.
- Payments are handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
- Access to client information is limited to me and protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
- Login details you share for a project are used only for that project and can be changed by you once it is finished.
6. Your rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what personal information I hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, unless I must keep it by law (for example invoices);
- stop contacting you.

7. Children
My services are intended for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with the date it was last updated.
